By registering an account, integrating our application programming interfaces, or utilizing any services provided by UPIGateway.dev, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations of India, and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India and National Payments Corporation of India.
To use our services, you must be at least eighteen years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are using our services on behalf of a business entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately cease accessing our website and terminate your use of our services.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time with prior notice posted on our website or dispatched via email to registered account holders.
Non-Custodial Service Scope & Financial Operations
UPIGateway.dev operates strictly as a technical software routing utility and automated transaction monitoring platform. We are not a bank, non-banking financial company, payment aggregator, or financial intermediary. We do not accept, hold, pool, or disburse customer funds.
All financial transfers occur directly between the paying customer and your linked bank account via standard UPI banking rails. Merchants are solely responsible for the quality, delivery, legality, and warranty of the products or services they sell to consumers.
UPIGateway.dev is not responsible for transaction disputes, chargebacks, customer refunds, or commercial disagreements between merchants and their buyers.
Merchants must clearly publish their own refund and fulfillment policies to end consumers on their respective websites or digital storefronts.
Intellectual Property & Platform Usage Guidelines
All intellectual property rights, trademarks, software code, design assets, and documentation associated with UPIGateway.dev remain the exclusive property of UPIGateway.dev and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our platform and integrate our APIs in accordance with your active subscription plan.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or exploit any portion of our software. You must not use our services for fraudulent transactions, deceptive practices, or activities that disrupt our system infrastructure.
Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our platform assets is strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution under Indian intellectual property laws.
Prohibited Business Categories & Content Policy
Merchants may not use our payment automation services to sell illegal narcotics, counterfeit goods, unlicensed gambling services, deceptive pyramid schemes, or unauthorized adult content. Any merchant found violating these categories will have their account immediately suspended and reported to relevant authorities.
We reserve the right to audit merchant storefronts to ensure ongoing compliance with consumer protection laws and financial regulations.
Compliance with Indian commercial laws is a mandatory prerequisite for maintaining active merchant routing privileges.
Account Suspension, Dispute Resolution & Liability
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate merchant accounts that violate our acceptable use policy, engage in illegal merchandise sales, or trigger excessive banking fraud alerts. Account termination will result in immediate revocation of API tokens and storefront access.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UPIGateway.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from banking network outages, telecommunication failures, or lost business revenue.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
